Ah, the excitement of my First Paparazzi Party!

Well, my first home party is set for Dec 1st! My brain is racing to make sure I don't forget anything! I am hoping for a great turnout! One of our oldest friends from Taekwondo has offered to be the Paparazzi Princess for the day! There will be drawings for great prizes, light refreshments and of course, lots of time to shop for jewelry and accessories!

I think the buried 'girly girl' is coming to the surface... I love getting to be out with the girls, even if they are my friends, friends.... it doesn't matter to me, the girl stuck at home and work is finally getting out and about! Paparazzi is giving me that chance!

So, the checklist is building, and I'll be checking it twice and I can't wait for Saturday! Gonna be lotsa fun... And, did I already say I have my first boutique? I will need to order more inventory between the 1st and the 8th in order to be ready!

So much fun already, and it's only my 2nd week being with Paparazzi...

I feel lotsa fun coming on!! Ciao!

It's PINK Friday tomorrow!

Wishing everyone and their families a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, our jewelry display cases are done and loaded with all the beautiful Paparazzi pieces and ready for tomorrow's Open House.

The kids posted 50 flyers around the neighborhood, the yard sign is out, and between Facebook invites and text messages sent out, I am hoping to get a bit of traffic tomorrow to test the waters.  I have tried thinking of all the little details, and I think Jess and I are off to a great start.  She sold 12 pieces in about 30 minutes on Wednesday, and is really impressed at how easy it is to sell Paparazzi Accessories! She keeps telling me, "mom, I have a good feeling about this...." if she only knew how good I feel about it too! There is an energy that captures yours when you are pulling all the cute jewelry out of their plastic sleeves, and hanging them on the display hooks... I start thinking and dreaming about all the ways I can coordinate....

I want to share them with my friends, my neighbors and even strangers who I haven't met yet! We are in the process of locking down 4 parties, and I already have inventory on the way... I know this business is going to take off... I can just feel it, and I am willing it to take off...

Jess is looking to pay for her schooling after graduation, and I am looking to put some freedom between our household bills and our budget! Plus, it's a welcomed change of pace...

So, at 10 am tomorrow, the doors open, and we are open for our first show.  Wish us luck! I am thankful for free enterprise and the ability to open and run my own business...for that, our freedoms, our blessings that this great country provides - I will forever be thankful!

Holiday Boutique @ Berts Cafe Dec 8th & 9th

An exciting shopping event is coming soon! On December 8th-9th, I will be at my very first Paparazzi public event! Bert's Cafe is a great little place on Main Street in Brigham City, UT.  The owner, and our family friend Kathy has agreed to let us use her banquet room to setup for a Holiday boutique full of homemade jams, candies and chocolate, Paparazzi will be there (me) as well as a local seamstress selling a number of her items.  Should be a great day for ladies everywhere! And, everything is just $5!!
We hope you can stop by and get some of your holiday shopping done.  I have also connected with the South Ogden Costco marketing manager to help me locate local events where I can share Paparazzi with the public.

I already have a line on hopefully 2-3 home parties, and am in the final stages of booking those now.  And, this is only Day 3! I can't wait to see my starter kit, and finally get all of my show 'checklist' items ready.  Now, it's just a matter of building my display cases...

I am hoping that December is a good month and my business takes a giant step forward! If anyone is interested in bringing Paparazzi to their town, contact me! Paparazzi consultant # 12269

I finally joined!

I can't believe it!! Ever since Peach Days in September 2012, I have been dreaming of all the cute Paparazzi pieces that I traded my craft items for, and how much I would love to be in business for myself.  Earn a little extra money, get to do 'girly' things with my daughter, friends and family, and get out of the house!  I wanted to do something more free spirited than just working all day. I love my family, but I had to face it - I needed to do something for fun, and why not earn some extra money?.. So, I finally did it! I joined Team Hadley! The moment the team in Kaysville started sharing their stories that Opportunity night, I knew I was in!

This was the piece that was missing... doing something fun, and doing something that I love.  Well, I admit, I LOVE jewelry... I am not at the age just yet in my life where I can afford diamonds, real gold, and expensive jewelry, but I love to accessorize with dangly earrings, cute necklaces and dazzling rings... only I always had one problem... either I never got out to go shopping, and didn't want to spend the money on myself... OR I couldn't afford all the cute pieces at the mall that I wanted... So, I decided that everyone, including me can afford $5 for a cute necklace and earring set!

So, why not bring that same opportunity to my family and friends... from my nephew's girlfriends who are all just starting out on their own, to my daughter, and close friends and school teachers.  We all enjoy looking cute and pretty for our guys... and, even more, feeling good about ourselves!

So, that is why I finally climbed aboard and joined a Paparazzi team.  I want to be part of this! These special ladies who pull you in and make you feel a part of something bigger! This young, trendy company started by women, for women who know how to tap into their spirits and have fun!

I can't wait!!!
